My 1440p 18" laptop is set to 20px. My workstation is set to 24px. My media center with the 55" 4k display at a ten foot seating distance is set to 32px.

If I view a website on my media center built around EM/REM with no PX crapping on the font sizes, 1 REM == 32px. THAT's WHAT IT'S FOR and why EM/REM are the most accessible metric and PX metrics are utter incompetent GARBAGE. And has been garbage from the day CSS was introduced!
